Referred as one of the most luxurious trains of India, Palace on Wheels is meant to provide you extravagant journeys in the vast wonderland of Rajasthan. Standing on its tracks like a sparkling carriage, the train offers a royal experience to the passengers making each moment of their trip special. The seamless blend of traditional Rajputana and modern panache, the train soothingly creates a calm atmosphere where enthusiasm of Rajput kingdoms can be felt closely. Contemporary facilities have been provided to allow the passengers plunge into the comforts and lavishness. Each coach has a seating lounge for get-together and enjoying the beautiful views of outside from windows. The lounge has an attached pantry serving beverages and refreshments. Please note:
* Half fare for children of 5 years and above but less than 12 years. Children below 5 years are free.
* Commercial tax US$ 15 per person extra as applicable.
*Service Tax @ 3.09% shall be levied on the prevalent tariff of The Golden Chariot as per Govt. of India norms.
* There will be a 10% surcharge on the tariff for the trips falling during Christmas & New Year.
* Booking is as per first come first serve, since the seats are limited kindly book in advance.
* No Charter can be booked during X-mas & New Year period.
* The above tariff is subject to revise without prior notice.

Tariff includes :
Tariff is inclusive of cost of travel and accommodation, catering (morning tea, breakfast, lunch, evening tea and dinner), conducted sightseeing tours in deluxe coaches, entrance fee for monuments and palaces and cultural entertainment.

Tariff does not include:
Drinks, tips, laundry, telephone calls, video camera fees, Business Car Facilities, liquor and other items of personal nature.



Terms & Conditions

Booking Policy:
  A) In case of Individual Booking:

To confirm your booking on Palace on Wheels, you have to pay 20% of ticket value in advance.
Rest 80% of ticket value should be paid 60 days before the departure date of the tour.
  B) In case of Group and Charter:
To confirm booking for group or charter, pay 50% of ticket value in advance. Rest 50% of ticket value should be paid 60 days before the departure date of the tour.

Cancellation Policy:
  A) In case of Individual Booking:

If cancel your booking 60 days prior to departure, you will have to pay 5% of ticket value.
If cancel your booking between 30 to 59 days prior to departure, you will have to pay 20% of ticket value.
If cancel your booking less than 30 days prior to departure, you will have to pay 100% of ticket value.
  B) In case of Group and Charter:
If cancel your booking 60 days prior to departure, you will have to pay 10% of ticket value.
If cancel your booking between 0 to 59 days prior to departure, you will have to pay 100% of ticket value.

No Show/ En-route Termination of Tour/Amendment:
No Show -
In case of No Show and not arrival of the passenger, no refund or adjustment for future travel can be done. The amount will be forfeited.
En route termination of tour- In case of termination of tour by the guest, for any reasons, no refund or adjustment for future travel will be possible. The amount for not traveled part of the tour will not be given back.
Amendment - Is only possible in special cases like Natural Disaster / Natural Calamity or Serious Health Problems (needs doctor's certificate) and is subject to availability. No refunds will be made in any case and no amendment can be done if booking of groups or complete train is done. Last decision will be taken on seriousness of the issue.

Reporting time is 16:30 hrs at Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station where a royal reception awaits you. This prestigious train departs from Safdarjung Railway Station at 18:30 hrs.
