Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 Cochin – Kumarkom (70 Kms / 1½ Hrs drive)
Upon arrival at Cochin International airport, you will be received by our representative in traditional manner and them, transferred to Kumarakom for hotel check in. Go for sunset cruise ride on a Rice boat. Have dinner and spend overnight at the hotel.

Day 2. Kumarakom

After having breakfast, proceed for a short cruise tour to the 'Philip Kutty's Farm'. Explore the cultivation of several tropical fruits and vegetables along with a short demo of simple home cooking. Return to the hotel and enjoy an in-house cooking demo followed by lunch. A cultural show specially organized by the hotel will end the day.

Day 3. Kumarakom
Rise early in the morning and proceed for demonstration of preparation of a 'Sadhya' (vegetarian wedding feast), served on banana leaves. Again enjoy a cultural show in the evening followed by dinner at the hotel.

Day 4. Kumarakom / Thekkady (175 Kms / 4 Hours drive)
After an early breakfast, you will be driven to Periyar. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel and enjoy sumptuous lunch. Go for an afternoon expedition in the famous Periyar National Park followed by Elephant Safari (out side the park). Spend overnight at the hotel.

Day 5. Thekkady
Have breakfast and proceed for special tour to Spice Plantations and Tea Plantations. After lunch, another cooking demonstration will be shown with the theme of 'cooking with spices'. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6. Thekkady – Cochin (200 Kms / 5 Hours drive)
Early in the morning, you will be driven to Cochin. Enroute have homely lunch at the Plantation Bungalow. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel and rest for the day

Day 7. Cochin
Have breakfast and leave for full day sightseeing tour of Cochin city including a visit to ancient Spice Market at Mattancherry and Chinese Fishing Nets. The day will end with traditional Kathakali performance followed by dinner.

Day 8. Cochin
Start your day with an early morning breakfast. Then, enjoy a hands-on experience with Hotel Chefs of various delicacies of Kerala Cuisine. Proceed for a sunset cruise at the harbour. End the evening with a special farewell dinner organized for you.

Day 09. Departure from Cochin
After an early morning meal, check-out for transfer to the airport to catch flight for next destination.
